Finishing your morning meeting with the daily message is a great way to have your students refocus for the day and to provide your students with a brief rundown of what their school day will look like. This is a great time to allow all of your students to understand what is happening during their school day and in what order. This is perfect for your students who may struggle with change or are anxious about certain parts of the day. Another great part to include during your morning message is to have a student write a sentence about the day ahead. This allows your students to practice their writing and the rest of the students get to read the sentence together as the chosen student writes it. Once you are finished with your morning message, your students are able to easily transition into your day's first activity! Check out below some of the messages I used with my classroom!
